After long and fruitful cooperation and as a result of differences of opinion on the strategic vision and management of the Chenot Method® at the Hotel Palace Merano, Chenot has decided to put an end to its license agreement with the northern Italian hotel owner.

Chenot intends to confirm its leadership role in preventative and rejuvenating care, by continuously offering consistent cutting-edge services in a state-of-the-art venue to its worldwide clients which it has been proud to serve and provide tailored services to for almost 50 years. To support this mission and these objectives, Chenot is expanding its brand portfolio with three new property openings in 2020: Chenot Palace Weggis, the company’s flagship property in Switzerland, Chenot Espace in Montenegro and Chenot Spa in Malaysia, the latter two being introduced as part of the partnership with the ultra-luxury hotel & resorts operator, One&Only.

Located on Lake Lucerne at the southwest base of Mount Rigi, Chenot Palace Weggis is a wellness destination that fits perfectly with the philosophy and vision of Chenot. The location has a famously mild climate and is well known for the numerous southern plants (chestnut trees, palm trees, grapes and orchids) that thrive there. The location offers a unique-to-Switzerland destination that is only a 40-minute car drive away from Zurich International airport.

Chenot Palace Weggis is designed and equipped to offer unique Chenot programmes and treatments, based on the Chenot Method® invented by Henri Chenot and now being pursued and developed by Dr George Gaitanos, Chief Operating and Scientific Officer of Chenot.

Chenot Palace Weggis features a fully dedicated medical spa facility of 5.000 m² with state-of-the-art diagnostics and medical screening tests and 97 elegantly furnished rooms.
