Chenot Molecular Lab
With novel mRNA-based molecular tests performed in our molecular laboratory, we quantify with precision the relative expression/activity of important genes associated with the presence of silent inflammation, oxidative stress, hormonal imbalance, structural integrity of connective tissue and ageing. Understanding how your genes are currently behaving allows for recommendations for the lifestyle improvement.

Gut Health Test
Evaluates your gut microbiota and the integrity of the intestinal barrier. We assess inflammation, intestinal permeability and nutrient sensing – all crucial to systemic health and immunity.

Arterial Stiffness Assessment
A non-invasive and accurate method for measuring arterial function and assessing vascular ageing. Measurements of the stiffness of the arteries, central blood pressure and pulse wave velocity are taken. 

AGEs (Advanced Glycation End Products)

Cardiorespiratory Fitness Assessment
A VO2max test measures your body’s maximum capacity to consume oxygen during exercise, and it is the key indicator of your aerobic endurance and cardiovascular health.

Strength & Balance Assessment
This test assesses muscular strength, balance and coordination with high precision.

Postural & Movement Assessment
This test assesses the curvatures of the vertebral column (spine), the mobility of the joints and the weak links in the muscle chains. In time all these factors can lead to altered activity of the entire locomotive system and if left untreated as we age, it can lead to postural deformity, loss of physical performance, reduced active life and pain.

Stress Test (HRV – Heart Rate Variability)

Functional Diet

This diet is specifically designed to support health and reduce inflammation without overwhelming metabolic processes. It consists of whole foods-simple, organic, minimally processed ingredients that are locally sourced and seasonally appropriate.  

The diet is vegetarian with anti-inflammatory properties, designed to minimise the intake of substances commonly found in animal fats, excessive proteins, high-calorie diets, and processed foods. 

Nutrient-dense meals ensure digestive ease and promote hormonal balance, providing essential vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients.

Can this programme be combined with a core detox programme?

The Body Insights & Optimisation programme and any signature Chenot detox programme serve distinct purposes and follow different physiological processes. While the detox programme is designed to trigger autophagy through calorie restriction (Chenot Diet® at 850 kcal/day) and activate cellular detoxification, the Body Insights programme is focused on evaluation, performance, and lifestyle optimisation. 

Each programme has its own rhythm and dietary requirements and combining them would compromise the efficacy of both. For this reason, they must be undertaken separately — but they can be scheduled sequentially. We recommend completing the Body Insights & Optimisation programme first, as its extensive screenings are best performed before the fasting-mimicking diet, which can temporarily affect key biomarkers.
